South London producer, Pedro123, remixes the first cut from Philadelphia producer Starkey’s upcoming album “Orbits”. This take on “Command” is pretty much the complete opposite of what you might expect from him, given that he generally plays grime and UK funky, but, y’know, transient nature of bassline trends and all that.It’s an airy techno offering that serves up a disjointed few minutes of stuttering bass with manipulated hums, as he teases the original into an even spacier affair. It's pretty good as a reaction to the pace of funky, and if you're into heavy duty bass-kicks and doing jerky ketamine-fuelled epileptic dancing from the corner of a club, this is perfection.
