Dino Lenny - "Plastic Men" (Rebellion)

Italian Dino Lenny's storied career has seen him remix Madonna and write music for Irvine Welsh's film adaptation of "Ecstasy." After releasing on Maceo Plex's Ellum label, Lenny's "Plastic Men," out on Crosstown Rebels sibling-imprint Rebellion, has laid-back, moody house vibes that sound like they belong in the opening hour of a Diynamic DJ set – And we mean that in a good way. A very good way.

Minnesota ft. G.Jones - "Thunderdome" (Buku remix)

Swamp bass overlords Minnesota and G.Jones are no strangers to the whomp, but Main Course-releasing Pennsylvanian Buku brought a whole 'nother level of heaviness to "Thunderdome," the original of which in a spaced-out number that never fully wilds out. Off the upcoming Voyager remix EP, Buku's take is another in what's becoming an extensive catalogue of dark, bossy, and upfront bass tunage.

Jaust - "Free" (Druid Cloak remix)

In an unlikely pairing of THUMP favs, Los Angeles-based angst-pop act Jaust's "Free' gets the bedroom electro treatment from fantasy-footworker Druid Cloak. The tune is an aesthetic departure for both acts and the rework takes the tune from sounding like The Knife to sounding like Joker taking on Flume.

Grandbrothers - "Rotor"

"Rotor" comes from the German electronic duo of Erol Sarp and Lukas Vogel AKA Grandbrothers (they create all their music through a grand piano) and is the first piece of beauty to emerge from their forthcoming debut LP 'Dilation." Gilles Peterson approved, the tune is enthralling piano-led electronica at its very finest.

Rob Garza ft. Sutja Gutiérrez - "Hide the Sunlight" (Neighbour remix)

Vancouverite analog-disco purveyor Neighbour takes the playa-ready sounds of Thievery Corporation's Rob Garza to slightly chiller climes, keeping the original vibe, but toning things down a notch, layering the whole thing in washes of xylophone, and disco-ing up the beat.

Asdasfr Bawd - "Nobody"

Asdasfr Bawd.Say that ten times fast. The Aussie newcomer's "Nobody" is a swirling, underwater take on footwork-inspired bedroom pop. It's lo-fi, yeah, but with a depth of sound and is creatively expansive – Imagine a young Bonobo, hopped up on Adderall, energy drinks, and Teklife. This is what you'll get.
