Dive Into Motor City Techno with Soulrack’s “Endless 303”

A Euro-Detroit blend straight from one of Justin James' refused label artists.

Music swings both ways. European artists take heed from the Detroit scene, and the Detroit bred honour the European culture. For any track entwined in this equation, it's a full proof recipe for pure, techno homogeny.

Soulrack is an example of the former. Descending from Spain, the DJ/producer was captivated by the Detroit and Chicago house music scene throughout his fruition in the '90s. His style holds the raw Motor City techno we've come to treasure, but incorporates a modern glossy finish. All this done while maintaining a homage to his Spanish roots. It comes a little surprise that his work has been picked up by a Detroit border-city artist Justin James and his highly regarded label, refused.

THUMP has the exclusive premiere of Soulrack's latest piece "Endless 303" off his EP Zener—a three track set that accentuates everything that defines techno goodness. The track builds and bloats with a shamelessly authentic bassline; laced with an infectious Saturday night ambiance.

Check out the exclusive premiere above and be sure to look for more from Soulrack on his Soundcloud and Facebook. His EP Zener is out on November 11 through refused.
