Melbourne duo Ara Koufax (Luke Neher and Sam Gill, who also operate as Naysayer & Gilsun) enjoyed a star turn on last year's Oceans Apart compilation with "Brenda", proceeding to score a primetime slot at this year's Splendour in the Grass along with strong hometown live showings. Following on from their self-titled EP released earlier in 2015, Ara Koufax today premiere the melodic and mood-driven "Adult Concepts", paired with B-side "Makers".Sam Gill says of the release, ""Adult Concepts" began as a kind of guinea pig for us to figure out how to play live together. It was seven or eight different loops we'd open our show with and improvise around, which we then re-arranged into something denser and more melodramatic.
