Darcy Baylis's "Envelopes" Welcomes You to a Pristine Palace of the Absurd

The rising Melbourne singer-producer presents an impactful visual accompaniment for his upcoming EP's title track.

Melbourne singer-producer Darcy Baylis crafts an entrancing and unique take on house, marrying fundamentally deft production with live vocals to achieve an emotive resonance that reach beyond euphoric platitude. It's a cultivated aesthetic rich with expression, all compounded with the film accompaniment for "Envelopes" – premiering today on THUMP. The video presents a pristine unease, placing organic absurdity within a room lined with white wall sterility, punctuated with expressive dance performances.
