Stream a Dub-Influenced House Burner from Nyra

2012 was a busy year for Nyra. Over the course of those 12 months, the Sheffield-based producer unleashed four EPs, but he's been quiet ever since—until now. On March 31, his four-track Ensemble EP will arrive via UK outpost Never Learnt, and he's offered us "Diagonal State" as an exclusive taste of what's to come. While other tracks on the record are inflected with dub chords, "Diagonal State" focuses more on low end sounds. The only elements that emerge from sub-bass frequencies are swirling white noise, a quiet two-tone blip, sharp claps, and clicking hi-hats.
