Luke Howard Is Bringing Pianos Back

Pianist don’t get a whole lot of attention anymore. If you wanted to be a rockstar pianist you probably want to have been born 100-300 years ago.

Pianist don’t get a whole lot of attention anymore. If you want to be a rockstar pianist you probably should have been born 100-300 years ago. Luke Howard hasn’t let the time of his birth discourage him though. Following the 2013 release of his LP Sun, Cloud he’s following it up with the remix EP called—get this—Night, Cloud

Kyson, Tim Shiel, Japanese Wallpaper and Bedroom Community engineer Paul Evens came on board for remixes and the result is the most chillaxed piano action you’ll hear today. The first track off Night, Cloud “August” was a project between Howard and Berlin based Kyson. The two guys do a stand-up job of making piano weird.

Sun, Cloud is available digitally and physically now.
