The Australian producer Flume's whole career has been busy, its rarely been as fruitful as the past calendar year. He's released a full-length album called Skin, earned a Grammy award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for that record, and he's also issued two companion EPs containing tracks written during the album's production.The Skin era finally reached its conclusion last night when Flume shared a new track, "Hyperreal," to coincide with Skin Companion EP II's vinyl release. "Hyperreal" sees him team up once again with Australian singer and composer Kučka (previously heard on album tracks "Numb & Getting Colder" and "Smoke & Retribution"), whose crystalline vocals provide a sugarcoated contrast to Flume's dark, heavy instrumental.
