Brooklyn's N'conduit Goes ON DECK and Showcases His Voodoo Down Records

You'll find most of N'conduit's releases over at Voodoo Down Records, the Brooklyn-based imprint founded by the artist himself, along with some of his pals and collaborators 12 x 12 and L'estasi Dell'oro. While the crew is spread out via NYC and Berlin, their affinity for chilled-out techno grooves sticks them together like glue, and you can hear their vibe flowing throughout N'conduit's debut mix for THUMP.

Real name Alex Hamadey, not only is the producer is a co-founder of both Voodoo Down and Rock and Roll Records, but also throws together some slick ambient-leaning productions under the guise SmallBroadcasts. Beyond that, you'll find his name under the production credits for the likes of deep-house crooners No Regular Play and even Azealia Banks, two names that certainly flex the diversity of his musical brain.

For his ON DECK mix, Hamadey takes us on a meticulously crafted smooth ride through punchy techno grooves, to deeper, more melodic soundscapes—dropping everyone from Four Tet's Percussion's alias, to Herbert, and Basic Soul Unit. Of course, he also throws in some upcoming IDs from his own catalogue, the likes of which you might just see on his upcoming Pumps EP release for Voodoo Down, out next week. Enjoy.
