Rising Producer Kuren Delivers Emotive Electronica on "See You Again"

The young Australian builds on his already-strong promise with another taste of his debut EP.

A promising new Australian talent has reared his head from the unlikely location of Hillston, rural NSW.

Kuren, known to his friends as Curtis Kennedy has – thanks to suburbia's double edged sword of isolation – honed his craft to master level at the young age of 17. Already his sound and production values place him at the forefront of the constantly evolving landscape that is Australian electronica.

"See You Again" taps into the spectre of (unrequited) love every teenager has, and will, experience, and the collage of sounds that ensue are a brilliant reminder of the genius in innocence and youth.

Emotional piano trills quickly become shuffle inducing trap-lord hi-hats, and his masterful vocal chops paired with arpeggiated rave synths magically combine to send a chill down even the most arthritic of spines.

Kuren's debut EP Love Lost is due to drop later this month. Watch this space.
