The THUMP Monday Morning Mix Series: WEALTH

So, here we are. The weekend is, once again, nothing more than a fading memory, dissolving like a Berocca in water. It's ok, though, because there will be others. And for now, there's THUMP's Monday Morning Mix series. Launched last week with the help of our good friends GL, this week your Monday is saved thanks to WEALTH (sometimes known as Happiness Is Wealth). The Australian neo-disco duo's debut self titled EP was released earlier this month, and has been on rotation ever since.

THUMP: What's your perfect Monday morning record and why?

WEALTH: At the moment I'm still dealing with the loss of Prince and Bowie so it's been purple tears into my morning coffee for the past few weeks.

Best way to pass the time on a morning commute?

I live remote and I cherish the long drive with it's perfect environment to listen to uninterrupted albums. I particularly like sunrise drives to the airport, it helps get some extra meaningful chill records in.

Tell us about the worst job you ever had.

I grew up working in restaurants when I was in high school, along with weekend gigs at clubs underage. I remember one restaurant I slowly worked my way down through the ranks. Front of house, bar, kitchen then eventually delivery driver. That sucked.
