House veteran Kerri Chandler, Omnidisc boss Danny Daze, and Chicago's own The Black Madonna are among the biggest artists announced as part of the Phase One lineup of this year's ninth annual Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival today. It will transpire from November 4-12, and take place at venues including Output, Good Room, Trans-Pecos, and Music Hall of Williamsburg.

The other artists set to perform range from the canonical to the contemporary, and include Detroit techno maverick Jimmy Edgar, Jealous God co-founder Silent Servant, and Ben Sims doing a B2B session with Truncate. THUMP will partner up with BEMF to host The Black Madonna's show, which will be a part of her recently announced We Still Believe tour.

During the weekdays in between the big weekend parties, there will be movie screening, pop-up art installations, and panel discussions on "gentrification, emerging cross-sections of dance music genres, community and technology," according to the press release.

Tickets are not yet available, but stay updated here on THUMP and via BEMF's website. For now, revisit the 2015 BEMF in pictures, and read a transcript of THUMP's panel from the festival on Gender Equality in Dance Music with six incredible artists, journalists, and music industry professionals.
