Big Freedia’s “Drop” Video Will Make You Wish You Could Dance

Drop to the beat, move to the beat.

We last heard from Big Freedia when she was delivering adlibs on Beyoncé's video for "Formation", and now the self-proclaimed Queen of Bounce is back with a video for "Drop," her ferocious dance track backed by vigorous production from EDM titan Diplo and French producer DJ Snake. If the track sounds familiar, it's because last year it featured on the soundtrack for Entourage, the movie based on the HBO series of the same name.

In the video, premiering today on THUMP, we find Freedia surrounded by an ensemble of dancing tweens outfitted in plaid and denim, commanding the screen with precocious skill and and magisterial confidence to match. "Making this video was almost as fun as recording the track," said Big Freedia to THUMP via email. "We did a casting call for young dancers and these kids slayed! I couldn't believe my eyes. They bring such good energy for the beat that Diplo and Snake did."

The Entourage soundtrack is available on iTunes.
