Update: [7:24 PM EST, May 5]: You can now listen to The Colour In Anything on Spotify. Blake also revealed in a Pitchfork interview that Frank Ocean contributed to the album.

Since the new year, British producer James Blake has been teasing material from his new album. Now the teasing is almost over: The Colour In Anything will be released tonight at 8pm EST.

Blake was on Annie Mac's BBC 1 Radio Show earlier this afternoon, where he spoke to the DJ about the new album, After being introduced, Blake played the bucolic and haunting "Radio Silence," once also the album's title until, he explained, he had a change of heart: "The title had just became a running joke after there actually had been so much radio silence from me." He spoke to Mac about working with Roald Dahl's illustrator [Quentin Blake](quintin blake) (no relation), legendary producer Rick Rubin, and Beyoncé: "She's as wonderful in person as I hoped she'd be."

As he prepared to debut another new track—a collaboration with Bon Iver's Justin Vernon titled "I Need a Forest Fire"—he nervously told Mac: "I should probably mention that the new album is coming out in a few hours." When Mac asked about any other noteworthy items on The Colour In Anything, he replied: "Well, we grow a little older, and hopefully a little wiser. It's my life that's changed, though, not my process."
