Perfume Advert are Thomas Brown and Aaron Turner, two nice lads who reside along the banks of River Irwell in Salford, North West England. Much like some of their 1080p cohorts from the Canadian Riviera, the duo's sound is as informed by heavy, murky grooves, as it is by sandy textures and sprawling dreamscapes.

On Perfume Advert's second release for the acclaimed Vancouver label, Big Gete Star, they deliver a similar package of deeply-layered tracks, their sonic abstractions kept in line by a foundation of steady, four-to-the-floor beats.

Judging by the ebullient synth chords and garage-influenced house beat of first track "Mirror Shield," we're in for a hazy stomper of a record. The cosmic swirls of the track's melody seem to take on a mind of their own, growing more expansive as it progresses, until they eventually overflow into a lazy river of mesmeric vibes.

Listen to it below and pre-order the Big Gete Star 12" here before it drops June 24.
