Aaron J. Cunningham Exorcises Darkness in "Blood In The Streets" Video

DETH Records founder sheds SINS moniker for new EP series.

He's best known for making electro-goth under the moniker SINS, as well as being the founder of DETH Records and Toronto's popular ACID BATH parties, but now Aaron J. Cunningham is taking his talents in a new direction. On his decision to start operating under his own name for a series of EPs on Berlin-based label Snuff Trax, he tells THUMP, "I have reached a point where my music has changed and I feel it's a better reflection of myself."

Here's the video for "Blood In The Streets", an upbeat acid house anthem with vocalist Neoprene with darker undertones—the song was inspired by the daily street harassment women face from men. The video's contour twisting images were shot using a DSLR camera and a hacked Xbox 360 Kinect.

Catch Cunningham at Toronto's The Drake Hotel Dec. 27 as part of the What's In The Box? festival and buy his first EP here.
