Judging by the tweet, King Midas Sound have just put the finishing touches on their next record. Whilst we don't have a name yet, we do know that the album is going to be 9 tracks long, and that we can expect "glacial melancholy" - the subgenre that has honestly been lacking in all of our lives. It's not necessarily a flood of detail but definitely gives us a healthy taste of the vibe we can expect. This album will come 4 years after 'Without You', the 2011 album of reworks based on their first release 'Waiting For You'. Beyond that the most recent music heard from the group was one off single "Aroo" in 2013, so safe to say we are long overdue more material.

2014 was a great year for The Bug, with his album 'Angels & Devils', and the live dates that followed it, going down an absolute storm. If you haven't seen him yet, you still have a chance when The Bug comes to Koko in London on the 18th of April.
