Floating Points New Video is Brilliant, Balletic Bliss

The opening track from the much loved DJ and producer's long awaited debut LP's got a video. And it's lovely.

As you know by now, Floating Points' long, long, long awaited debut LP is finally dropping soon and we couldn't be more excited about it. Seriously, it's going to be bigger than Jesus, the Beatles, and VW's fines put together. Elaenia —named after a type of bird, by the way— will arrive November 6 on Luaka Bop/Pluto.

To get you in the mood for it, the man known to his mum as Sam Sheppard's just dropped a video for the minimal, downbeat bit of ambient bubblebath he's called "Nespole". Some dancers dance alone and look really sad and the whole thing is shot really nicely and it's really easy to watch. Isn't that lovely? "Nespole" is Elaenia's opener and if it's all this nice then we're all in for a treat. Lovely.
