Relish Records Have Brought us Some Soft Spinning Techno Courtesy of Maya Danon

Robi Insinna's label have begun a new compilation series showcases their brightest signings.

Swiss label Relish Records have been growing in prestige pretty rapidly since their inception in 2002. Like any good pick 'n' mix, tapas menu or fantasy football team, the triumph is all in the selection, and thanks to label head Robi Insinna (better known as international DJ Headman) the choice cuts keep getting sweeter. This is no more evident than on Relish Industria Vol.1 – the first in a new compilation series from the label, showcasing the brightest talents on their roster. Robi has been generous enough to allow THUMP to premiere one of the release's highlights, courtesy of Maya Danon.

"So You Say" clearly comes from the same label that has charted releases from Daniel Avery and Erol Alkan. It is a swirling acidic cut, that spits into life with a warm but driven pulse. The track certainly has shades of darkness but is strikingly dance-friendly, powered by a sure-fire and bubbling bass. The track is Maya Danon's second release on Relish, and showcases the Tel Aviv producer's ear both for atmosphere and groove. The 3 track compilation will be released in its entirety on the 29th of May, and is a strong indicator of an imprint in peak condition.
