The New Mouse on Mars Track is a Swirling, 13 Minute Organic Audiovisual Epic

Here's an exclusive watch of he German duo's psychedelic new 10" single "Lichter."

For over two decades now Jan St Werner and Andi Toma have been joining the dots between IDM, ambient, Krautrock and library music as Mouse on Mars. With 10 fearless experimental albums under the belt already, the lads are back with a brand new 10" on the fiercely independent Infinite Greyscale imprint. Run out of opposite sides of Germany by guys called Paul and Cornelius, the label keeps things minimal: three records a year, 300 copies pressed of each, with a specially-commissioned screenprint taking up the B-side of each release.

Today sees them drop Mouse on Mars' "Lichter" and we're letting you watch the gorgeously gauzy video—directed by Paul McDevitt and Jamie Lemoine—right now. If you've been waiting all year for a 13 minute pastoral-electronica future-classic that comes with subtly psychedelic visual accompaniment, then boy oh boy are you in luck.

Turn off the lights, shut those curtains, slip into the comfiest beanbag you can find and let it unfurl in all its glowing, gloopy glory right now.

Lichter is out now on Infinite Greyscale.
