Synthpop duo, Holy Ghost!, have announced a new EP, their first release since 2013's Dynamics LP. DFA will release Crime Cutz on April 29, but today members Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel have shared the video for the lead single and title track.

Crime Cutz is at first glance classic Holy Ghost!—an energetic mix of acoustic drums and sequenced keyboards led by Frankel's rhythmic vocals. Halfway through the 7-minute track, however, Frankel is joined by a full choir, blossoming an already feel-good pop tune into a full-blown jubilee.

THUMP asked Frankel how he came to work with the East Coast Inspirational Singers choir: "The choir at the end is the East Coast Inspirational Singers. I literally found them on the internet. We met up the next day, and it was awesome and really moving to hear them sing. In general we've tried to be a bit more off the cuff when recording recently, [and they were] a last minute addition while mixing the song."

In anticipation of the EP's release, Holy Ghost! have announced a clutch of Australian tour dates and a single New York one-off show at MoMA's spring Armory Party. That's the album art above; check out the dates and the video below.
