Join THUMP for Native Sessions and Learn How to Craft your Sound

THUMP and Native Instruments are hosting an expert panel on February 22 in LA.

Join THUMP for the first Native Sessions of the year on February 22 in LA, for an evening of expert panelists talking about how to craft your signature sound. Through a series of talks and workshops presented by Native Instruments, the DJ and production technology company, the event will explore the significance and lineage of sonic hooks in modern songwriting.

The success of many of today's tracks rests on a signature sound of the music itself. In this edition of Native Sessions, you'll learn the tools and techniques for creating cutting edge sonic hooks with Maschine and Komplete, and hear from a choice roster of guest speakers known for their handcrafted sound.

Hosted by THUMP's Editor-At-Large, Joshua Glazer, the panelists include: Nick Shelestak of Phantogram and Big Grams; Nosaj Thing, the LA-based musician who's produced for the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi; Filip Nikolic, one half of LA-based laidback disco duo, Poolside, and Brooklyn-based producer, Dot Da Genius.

Native Sessions is a series of regular events dedicated to bringing Native Instruments users, experts and the wider music community together to explore the future of music making.

Entry is free with RSVP, but space is very limited. Due to the event roster and limited capacity, the event location will be released the morning of the event. Doors open at 7:30pm. Program starts promptly at 8pm. Event is strictly 21 and over.
