New Ministry of Sound Signee A-Minor Brings Heavy Disclosure Vibes

Are you in the market for a funky bassline?

A-Minor popped up out of nowhere last year with "Thinking 'Bout the Things," a summery house jam released on Spinnin'. The label signed the emerging Londoner after a blog-kindled bidding war, but Ministry of Sound have pipped him for his upcoming releases.

In preparation for whatever madness is about to ensue, Minor's released "Someone You Love," and we've got that exclusive. The tune is all about the mega-funky bassline and sugary sweet vocal refrains. "Ruby Wood (of Submotion Orchestra) and I actually wrote this in the first session we had together," Amin explains. "She has such a sultry tone and it just made sense to capture that vibe on the track. That's probably why the production ended up being a bit different to most of the stuff I've put out because I wanted to stay true to her vocal."

The whole thing harkens back to certain tracks on Disclosure's debut record – and we mean that in a very, very good way.
