Welcome to Notes from the Underground, THUMP's weekly premiere feature dedicated to shining a light on underground sonics from around the world. Every week, we'll start at the surface and dig deeper into the underground with each track. In this week's super-mega-bumper edition, we've got some of the classiest house music you're gonna find, some dancefloor drug tunes, some next level dubstep, 2-step, and future bass of multiple flavors – and you can check them all out at this one-stop shop. Have a dig around:Everything Eelke Kleijn does is drenched in class, that's why he's released everywhere from Eskimo to Manual to Spinnin' and Ultra. His tune "The Voices," released on London label Toolroom, is bathed in bass and grooves along with an effortless flair until the voices themselves kick in. This is the kind of tune Solomun puts on when he trims his beard.Eelke Kleijn is on Facebook // SoundCloud // Twitter
Gene Farris is on Facebook // SoundCloud // TwitterTokyo Hands is on Facebook // SoundCloudMucky 2-step vibes on this one as warped basslines and machine sounds battle it out for supremacy on UK-man Spooky's remix of New York-based bass peddler Doctor Jeep's "Ghost Dance." It's a hard-nosed basher of a tune that sound like the shadier parts of London at night come to life on tape. The duo have released a whole EP full of remix trades.Doctor Jeep is on Facebook // SoundCloud // Twitter

Sonny Fodera & Gene Farris - "We Work It" [Visionquest]
As Detroit/Berlin label Visionquest ekes towards its 50th release, Londoner Sonny Fodera follows up releases on Suara, Defected, Dirtybird and Cajual by teaming up with Chicago house specialist Gene Farris on the undeniably groovy "We Work It." The release is a little more on the upfront side for a VQ release and it's a drugged out anthem for everyone who likes to get that little bit extra frisky on the dancefloor.Sonny Fodera is on Facebook // SoundCloud // Twitter

Tokyo Hands - "Under Control" [Donky Pitch]
Donky Pitch is always on the cutting edge of wonked out bass music and, fittingly, North Carolinian producer Tokyo Hands has been on a tear over the past few months with a slew of left-field takes on hip-hop influenced dancefloor tunes. "Under Control," off of his Underbrush EP, thrives with a bouncy kick pattern and chopped up vocals that somehow manage to make minimalist sound maximalist.

Luft - "The Conversationalist"
Teens these days are crazy. Luft is a 16-year-old from Kansas City making maximalist, hyper-colored, Rustie-esque tracks like this one, presumably in between homework and band practice. He's gearing up to release his 1999 EP next month, so… oh my god. That's when he was born? Good god, I feel ancient.Luft is on Facebook // SoundCloud // Twitter
Party Thieves & ATLiens - Chief (Nebbra Remix)
Four remix contest wins under his belt, a release on OWLA, and this nasty little serving of Parisian bass. Nebbra is a name you want to know, and if you don't know—now you know. Commandeer your friends; aux cord at your next pregame and throw this on, you might just become the coolest kid in the room.Nebbra is on Facebook // SoundCloud
