Stream a Gorgeous Track from Dutch Dynamo Duke Hugh's New Album on Rhythm Section

"Butterflies" is the perfect soundtrack for some good old fashioned Sunday morning soul searching.

Gather round children, Grandfather THUMP has a story for you: everyone's favorite globetrotting Peckhamite, Bradley Zero, found himself in Amsterdam. After what might have been a long hard day of cycling and museum-hopping, Bradley bumps into a bloke called Duke Hugh. Duke Hugh gives Bradley a bright green USB loaded with a load of tracks he'd been working on. Bradley nips into the nearest empty club, plays the entire contents of the USB, loves it, and finds himself humming one of the tracks ("Green Leaf") the next day. Bradley then decides to release Duke's music and next month you too can bask in the glory of it.

Rhythm Section International's Dutch division opens his South East London account on a brilliant, and brilliantly diverse debut album. Canvas takes in everything from fluttering jazz, dreamy downtempo excursions, lo-fi funk, and glistening electronica custom built for this time of year. In fact, you can have a preview of the whole thing right here. Which is nice, isn't it?

We're letting you listen to opening track "Butterflies," a short but very sweet slice of folky-ambience that'll probably sound even better when Sunday morning rolls around and you're sat there with a mug of Nescafe and a head full of regrets.
