Florian Kruse's Remix of Simion is Dripping With Hypnotic Finesse

Returning to his own label, Hedonism Music, Simion is premiering a bumping remix of his latest single "The Groove" with THUMP today. Originally a lively, danceable tech house track, remixer Florian Kruse takes the energy down a touch and adds some hypnotic finesse. With a vocal hook that will grab you and make you move; the track is easy to love and hard to forget.

Despite the earworm qualities of the vocals, it's the sonic change that occurs around the four-minute mark that makes the track instantly memorable. Minimal bass rhythms are overtaken with brooding minor key synths — this club tune gets spooky quickly. Dramatic, and completely unpredictable, Kruse's remix is that rare dance tune with an undeniable "whoah" moment.
