Matt Lange - Lying to Myself [Mau5trap]

With Deadmau5's seal of approval, dance auteur Matt Lange's Ephemera LP is a tightly-wound, heady collection of tunes that carry strong IDM and glitch elements in delicately woven songs and club bangers alike. Lange is a fully fledged artistic notion, a rarity in dance, and this album will see his star climb.

HXV x TM88 x Descender - Get it Back

Yeah, you might need to crack some sort of code to figure out the names of who made this track, but Gucci Mane's vocals are instantly recognizable, even as they're warped into the tech-electro setting of this collaborative track between three of Atlanta's finest producers.

Leb Laze - HgLexus [Geographic North]

Leb Laze is Ryan Rasheed, a Lebanese-American producer who frequently collaborates and tours with Prefuse 73. Rasheed is also a member of the Risil collective, whose members include his musical cousins Hella, Tortoise, Battles and School of Seven Bells. "HgLexus" is a standout track from Rasheed's limited-edition cassette release on Atlanta label Geographic North. The jaunty pacing somehow feels as if the track is taking a quick hop backwards every few steps, like a sticky-footed dancer moving through a crackling field of tape hisses and crunchy drums.

Barker & Baumecker - Clusterfuck [Omnidisc]

Another mind-bending submission from the always mysterious Omnidisc camp. Barker and Baumecker's glitchy "Clusterfuck" flits over a warped, almost reggaeton rhythm as those clusters of fuck float around the airwaves.

Lauren Flax - In The Night (feat. Jo Lampert) (Vocal Mix)

It's a NYC collab sesh on Lauren Flax's new release for Get Up Recordings, the city's underground hub that's brought you heat from Eli Escobar and Kim Ann Foxman as of late. On the release's vocal mix, Flax drops an addictive synth line upon Jo Lampert's (the Brooklyn DJ, producer, live artist), vocal performance. The result is a stunning deep house gem for your mind, body, and soul.
