Poupon Puts a New Veneer on “Fall Back”

His latest release has now received a fresh coat of paint courtesy of stirring vocals by fellow Torontonian Sam Moffatt.

Forget about Dijon mustard, it's rising Toronto-based producer Poupon who is on everyone's mind with his latest release "Fall Back".

Originally released in the UK, "Fall Back" has now received a fresh coat of paint courtesy of stirring vocals by fellow Torontonian Sam Moffatt. Featuring silky-smooth grooves, an infectious melody, and a sexy blend of pop and R&B sensibilities, "Fall Back" is an emotive and irresistible modern house cut suitable for almost any occasion.

"The track started from a vocal demo that Sam Moffatt sent over to me, which I then built the track around," says Poupon. "Eventually he came into the studio to record some more vocals, which included a second hook for the radio edit. When you've got a great vocal hook to work with, it really makes the production process flow smoothly. I really love this one because I think it falls right in the middle of a club track and a song you can listen to whenever."
