Dave Aju Gets Kidnapped By a Beekeeper In His Puzzling New Video

Tarantino, grooving house vibes, and mild-hallucinations—

After viewing the video for "Bee's Birth" off his summer LP Black Frames, a number of things have become clear about San Francisco-via-Berlin-based house producer Dave Aju. For starters, his affinity for the cinematography of Quentin Tarantino is apparent, and more specifically, the infamous live-burial scene from Kill Bill Vol. 2, is flowing through the video's entirety. Except, instead of being gagged, bagged, and eventually burried by a salty Michael Madsen, the producer is driven around town and eventually plunged into the earth by a mysterious, yet seemingly sexy-Beekepper. So, we're assuming Aju has a thing for bees as well.

The only thing that isn't mysterious about this picteresque, and captivating visual journey, is the producer's natural affinity for crafting grooving house music, the type that effortlessly attaches itself to the type of narrative that works your imagination, as well as your dancing feet.
