Take a Noirish Desert Journey in Gonjasufi's Somber "Vinaigrette" Music Video

'Natural Born Killers' meets a peyote trip in the black-and-white clip for the American producer's latest single.

After recently announcing his first album in four years, the cathartically-titledCallus, Nevada-based producer and vocalist Gonjasufi (aka Sumach Ecks) has shared a new video for his song "Vinaigrette."

The stark, Joe Nankin-directed, mostly black-and-white clip follows a woman as she speeds through a town at night and into a desert landscape, replete with imagery of ominous crosses, dimly lit motel rooms, and towering wind turbines, perfectly fitting the track's apocalyptic vibes. "I didn't want to be in it. It reminds me of Natural Born Killers," Ecks tells THUMP, adding the song was written about a fictitious runway model who got AIDS.

Watch it above and pre-order Callus before it comes out Aug. 19 on Warp Records.
