Julie Adenuga Asks Clubbers If Reality is a Dream

In the next episode of Late Night Philosophy, the Beats1 presenter heads to Croydon.

It's a well known fact that everybody has their best ideas, their most profound thoughts, in the hours after a night out. Catch anyone in the time between leaving the club and hitting their pillow, and you'll find someone with more pearls of wisdom on their boozy breath than old Noam Chomsky himself could hope for in his lifetime. THUMP and Julie Adenuga are acutely aware of this, which is why we've been setting out to ask ravers all over the UK some of life's biggest questions.

A few weeks back we were in Romford, asking clubbers about life after death, but this time we've set our sights on Croydon, and an even tougher question: is reality actually real? Or is it just a dream?

That's right—how can you tell that everything around you isn't simply an illusion? How do you know your entire existence isn't simply an experiment in lab somewhere? How do you know you're not, right now, in the Matrix? Well, thanks to the lovely people of Croydon, we're a little closer.
