Octav Rolan's "Momentum" Takes Interpretive Dance to Urban Wastelands

Parisian multimedia label Club Kuma is on some heady tip.

Parisian media collective KUMA are home to a bevy of musicians, filmmakers, and illustrators, and it's on projects like the short film set to music from Octav Rolan's "Momentum" that brings all the mediums together. Directed by Alexandre Charrière, the video takes interpretive dance to the urban wasteland, and the result is a gripping seven minute cut that ripples with depth.

In the video, we follow two central characters as physical movement, dystopian mechanisms, and cultural commentary collide in a poignant and moody salutation to modern existence.
