It's Monday after a party-heavy holiday weekend, so its not uncommon for one's eyes and mind to play tricks on them. We'll assure you however, the video above is real, and you're actually not as spun out as your body might be leading you to believe.Let's sift through the essentials: Skrillex remixes British production clique YOGI's track with Pusha T, "Burial," into some ragga-stomp business, a music video is made, and here we are back at the present, scratching our heads in a supremely WTF manner.
The video follows rap star Pusha T, who finds himself head to head with a squad of villainous goons who look like a crossbreed between the Jabbawockeez and the bank-robbing crew from Dead Presidents. After getting his haircut all sullied by said dance-crew, Pusha departs, grabs some ice cream, and proceeds into a drop-top convertible beside a sexy mysterious female. Even if the video ended here, it would sitll be damn pretty strange, but then out of nowhere, Pusha T turns into Dennis Rodman. Or more accurately, Pusha was Rodman the entire time. Just like in that scene from Zoolander, we can't quite tell if Dennis and the dancers are actually fighting in the coming frames, dancing, or both, but regardless, Rodman decides it's probably best to just light one of the dancers on fire and go on with his day. The funny thing here is, the rest of them don't seem to mind at all. Maybe it was all part of the routine?Someone get us some more coffee please.
