Lara Rix-Martin's Objects Limited label will release OBJECT: RESISTANCE, a new compilation album benefiting Black Lives Matter and Albert Kennedy Trust, an organization offering support for LGBT homeless youth. This digital-only release (as part of an effort to reduce environmental impact, which disproportionately affects people of color) drops March 2.

OBJECT: RESISTANCE will include a number of artists already affiliated with the label, including Jana Rush, Eva Bowan and Ziúr. It will also feature more emerging artists whose inclusion on the compilation marks their debut release.

"Objects Limited wants to start 2017 right, so we decided to make a small difference," said Rix-Martin. In April 2016, Rix-Martin (one half of the electronic duo Heterotic) launched Objects Limited as a label focused on releasing music from female-identifying and non-binary artists.
