Jesse Rose's New Video Will Catapult You Through Space and Time

Jesse Rose has been all over the map. In a physical sense, he's lived all over the world; he was born in London, then relocated to Berlin, and now lives in Los Angeles. As a producer, he's championed European micro house sounds, and his latest single ventures into Thomas Bangalter-inspired French house. "Fly Tonight," which dropped earlier this month on Rose's own Made To Play sublabel, Play It Down, features a vocoder vocal over disco-influenced melodies that recall tracks like Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You." The video matches its classic vibes with archival footage from famous clubs spliced with shots from recent events at venues like DC-10 and Space in Ibiza.
