The new single "Tuesday" from Edmonton, Alberta brother-sister duo Tennyson and Los Angeles-based producer Mr. Carmack is perfect music for a hazy morning or serene twilight. Its soulful and delicate keyboards and synths evoke a mood of peaceful transition, equal parts jazz, R&B, and ambient electronica."Tuesday" is the first in a series of three singles the collaborators will unveil consecutively this week named, you guessed it, "Tuesday," "Wednesday," and "Thursday." The trio is out from Red Bull Sound Select, and "Tuesday" is the first track of 2017 released by the platform. The collaboration of Tennyson (also known as Luke and Tess Pretty) and Aaron Carmack may seem an odd pair: Tennyson is known for dreamy and soulful electronica, while Mr. Carmack comes from the world of dance and hip-hop. It works, though; you can hear the fingerprints of both artists all over the track in a well-balanced mixture suited to close encounters and whispered secrets. You can catch the rest of the releases on Red Bull Sound Select's Soundcloud.
