LTD Colours Takes “Sweet Treats” Advice from YouTube’s Auntie Fee

"I don't know what the fuck this is, it's just something sweet for the motherfuckin' kids, okay? Damn."

LTD Colours continues the reign of Montreal's unpredictable label Infinite Machine with their EP In Between.

LTD Colours, or Riccardo Baldoni and Federico Nosari, are two Milan-based producers turning bass music on its head with dance floor primed jungle and drum and bass.

"Sweet Treats" is the assertive track of the bunch, charged with an unrelenting tempo and a homage to flanging—a delayed, swirling audio effect made famous by Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles. But the old school stylistics are matched with a modern flare in the form a sample from a recent viral video, "Auntie Fee's Sweet Treats for the Kids." If you're lucky to be familiar with this YouTube gem, the track is all the more amusing.
