The Sonic Cradle, in development by artists and technologists Jay Vidyarthi and Darwin Frost, suspends a human body in absolute darkness and allows the user to mix a soundscape using only their breathing. It’s not just a neat interactive installation, but a tool for meditation, a therapeutic gadget in a world of not-so-soothing ones. To complete it, they need more relaxing music, found sounds and readings, and they’re collecting submissions. Contribute at Sonic Cradle.
