Stream a Glorious Slice of Deep House From Kerri Chandler's Brand New Record Label

Michigan maestro Rick Wade knows—"You Need Love".

Kerri Chandler is one of the most loved and most widely respected house producers and DJs to ever don a pair of headphones. If you've ever gotten the chance (and gift) to gaze upon his greatness IRL you'll know he's usually stone-faced and calm in the booth. Believe it or not though, he says he's actually pretty chaotic guy most days, and especially, on one day every year.

"Early on in my career I used the nickname Kaoz 6:23. It was because that was what was going on around me —chaos," he says. "The chaos of the studio, the chaotic travel schedules, but more importantly the fact that every year around June 23rd something big would happen in my life. It was always crazy around that date. Using the name was my way of trying to bring some kind of order to the chaos." This year, not on the usual date of June 23, but one day prior, Chandler will release the first piece of music from his brand new label, the Kaoz Theory compilation. One of the release's tracks, courtesy of Buchanan, Michigan maestro Rick Wade, is available early for your ears.

Beyond Wade's pristine cut of chunky deep house classicism, the rest of the comp is stuffed to the gills with top tier talent featuring some of house and techno's brightest, artists like the Martinez Brothers, Chez Damier, Seth Troxler, Detroit Swindle and DJ W!ld. As you would expect form Chandler, it's a masterclass in the nuances of contemporary house.
