Nintendo fans have been patiently (and anxiously) waiting to see how Nintendo would adapt Animal Crossing to mobile, and tonight, the company revealed Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Thankfully, it basically looks like Animal Crossing, albeit with your to-be-expected tweaks for microtransactions. It'll be available in late November. You can watch the full breakdown here:Some of the key takeaways:
- You're now managing a camp site (and a camper) instead of a house.
- It's now possible to adjust the skin tone of your character.
- Leaf tickets, which can be earned or purchased, shorten the time required to craft items, acquire materials, find new designs, and more.
- There are some new RPG aspects to the game, such as friendship levels, based on the quests you complete for the people around you.
- As with other Animal Crossing games, it reacts in real-time, based on the clock.
- Birds are now mechanics because of course they are.
