“Lip Service” Is Rich Wakley’s New Track and It’s Just As Arousing As It Sounds

The Respekt Recordings owner is serving up a sugary, old-school house track.

The title is not meant to lead you astray―"Lip Service" is just as arousing as it sounds.

Cut from the cloth of the Resonance Records crew, Leeds native Rich Wakley has hit the record label with a three track EP of the same title, Lip Service. After grounded support from the industry's well-established, Rich has become the twenty fourth release on the label's repertoire. As the owner and remixer of Respekt Recordings―an imprint of Spektre―Rich has applied his dance music dexterity to help release tracks for artists like Tom Laws, Matt Cooper and Subfractal.

"Lip Service" is laden with timeless, sugary vocal samples and a robust bassline. The track cultivates a pattern of soft synths that wanders from an allusive dance track to a full throttle, old-school house syndrome.

Rich Wakley drops Lip Service EP on Resonance Records on December 15 and will include remixes from Hauswerks and Kreature. Follow Rich on his Facebook, SoundCloud and Twitter for more music and updates.
