NORTHMIX: Memorecks

Those of you looking for a taste of something different from Canada's eclectic soundscape need to look no further than Toronto native James Peck, better known as Memorecks. His powerful and evocative style of bass music has made waves both critically and commercially, and his most recent single, "Collapse," an epic collaboration with Zeds Dead, has garnered over 500,000 plays on SoundCloud in less than a month. He's currently working on a full-length album with Jenna Pemkowski, who was previously featured on his breakout single "Trouble" (free download here), and he also has an instrumental album coming out next month.
