Since giving UK music fans a collective heart attack last November, via the revelation that Frank actual Ocean would headline the Friday night, the people behind Lovebox Festival have been pretty quiet about the rest of their lineup for 2017.
They have now delivered the goods, however, and the full bill for the event – which will take place in east London's Victoria Park over the weekend of July 14 and 15 – is kind of a doozy. Friday will see sets from Jamie xx and Mac Miller. Also confirmed are Solange (!), Sampha (!) and Kaytranada (!), as well as BBC Sound of 2017 winner Ray BLK (!!), playing elsewhere on Friday.
Saturday takes a slight change of pace, with a headlining set from the barnstorming Chase and Status, while Jess Glynne, Annie Mac and Raye have been added to the day's festivities. Andy C, Mist and AJ Tracey will also be playing on Saturday.
The 2017 event will celebrate 15 years of the festival, and therefore called for what the festival's organisers have called "the best lineup yet." Sounds about right, tbh. See the full lineup here, and get excited about being able to experience the majesty of Solange in a park that's walking distance from a Costcutter. You can follow Noisey on Twitter.
