The Vid for Slumberjack's Trip Pony Remix is Some Aquatic Headfuckery

The Main Course new girl gets an orchestral crunkwave remix

The original version of Main Course newbie Trip Pony's "Daze" was dark and groovy enough - It's an alt-R&B number with mellowed electro synths and a cracking snare on the last beat – but when Slumberjack took their now instantly recognizable orchestral crunkwave hatchet to the tune, there was only one thing to do: Make a trippy video and get weird whilst watching it on repeat.

The remix speeds things up a little, and by the time the breaks sample suggests it's time to get wonky, you know Slumberjack are taking you to headfuck territory. It's a little more subdued than some of their more in-yer-face works, so it's good to see that it's not all-tearout-all-the-time down under.

We're pretty sure this whole video is underwater, but after hearing the tune, we don't know which way is up anymore. And hey, you can actually download the whole EP for free right here.
