Laurel Halo tore up Boiler Room last week, closely after a serious live turn at Plastic People and a Squarepusher support slot that rendered the be-helmeted one's efforts not a little weak. She can also clearly cut it on wax as her debut record and now this new 12" prove.Halo is a far cheerier prospect to relish now, rather than wasting your time wading amongst the re-animated shadows of never quite made it popstrels and warbling knob twiddlers that are being bandied about the ones to watch in 2013 . Halo goes in hard.
