Ah, yes, the golden age of Cali life. When skateboarding was new, growing your hair long was rebelious, and the ozone layer was still intact. This was an era to recall fondly, and Lxury's new video for "J.A.W.S." does so in all its kalidescopic, washed out glory. The song itself is plump with nostalgia too, what with its punchy analog synths and kick-snare devotion to house rhythms. Lxury's name is a new one, with his first excursion only a couple months back on the god-like UK duo Disclosure's BBC radio show. The track is available now via their vanity label, Method Records.
