Five Warehouse Projects You Should Definitely go to if You’ve Weirdly Decided Specifically to Only Attend Five of Them

Our top picks for this season in Store Street.

Warehouse Project starts tonight. That's right. Tonight. Get your Magic Riders in lads. We're all headed to Store Street for another three months of rain-soaked smoking breaks, dodgy signal, lost mates, and shakily filmed videos for the purposes of track IDs.

In all seriousness, the season is always a treat. Not only do these autumn spell pack in basically every great DJ in the world, but the lineups are also fiercely diverse — catering to both your Ben UFO crate diggers and your video-of-Skepta-performing-SHUTDOWN-on-my-snapchat-story squad. That being said, with so much to choose from, it can also be a tad overwhelming. So with that in mind, and with the completely constructed format of an online listicle dictating a specific amount, here are five — and only five — Warehouse Projects you'd be borderline silly not to go to.

WELCOME TO THE WAREHOUSE - 26th September

This Saturday is a bit of a hall of fame affair, kicking the season off with names as big as Seth Troxler, Jackmaster, Daphni, Joy Orbison, and Jasper James all on the same bill. They are selectors that justify themselves, so you hardly need us bigging them up anymore, but the evening should set a tone for what WHP will continue to do so well throughout until New Years. Great DJs, an amazing setting, and lineups that you'd otherwise pay out over and over again to see on separate nights. It's a bargain when you think about it like that.

RESIDENT ADVISOR X DEKMANTEL - 10th October

Resident Advisor and Dekmantel both have reputations that smell of authority and quality, whatever that smells like — a sort of rich, leathery smell I imagine. It's genuinely quite incredible to see them pull together a lineup packing Nina Kraviz, Dixon, Four Tet, and Ben UFO. And Joy Orbison. And Jackmaster again. Crumbs.

BUGGED OUT! HALLOWEEN - 31st October

Why not — instead of wrapping yourself in toilet roll and pretending to be the embalmed corpse of Imhotep before going to a party at your friend Denise's flat or whatever it is people do on Halloween — go to Store Street and watch Carl Craig. Carl was genuinely the highlight of our WHP season last year, and the thought of missing him this time around is, well, terrifying (get it? Do you get it??)

MODESELEKTION - 13th November

Also great to see a solid techno night on the list. The last time we saw Rodhad he was in an 8 til 10 slot, closing a ten hour long night in London, and all we can really remember is that his pummeling Berliner pulses were more than enough to keep us in a hyper-delusional state of constant engagement. This is also a closing party of sort of pioneering imprint 50 Weapons, so come pay your respects people.

NEW ORDER - 5th December

New Order. In Manchester. It's like watching… Well it's going to be like watching New Order in Manchester mate.
