After some uncertainty, Electric Zoo announced last week it would officially return to Randall's Island, New York City this Labor Day Weekend. Fresh of a victorious debut in Mexico City this past weekend, EZOO unveils its phase one lineup today. Since its inception in 2009 this NYC based festival have established itself as a genre-spanning juggernaut, consistenly bringing in the biggest names in dance music—from EDM heavyweights, to eclectic pushers of the underground and of course, a dash of buzzing up and comers. This year is no exception with Zedd, Kaskade, Armin van Buuren (who returns to Zoo after taking 2013 off), David Guetta, Skrillex's side project with Diplo, Jack U and the likes of Seven Lions, Jamie XX and Cazzette filling in on side stages.

Also announced today, Electric Zoo will be team up with the debut USA edition of Mysteryland (which kicks off the summer festival season over Memorial Day Weekend in Bethel Woods, NY), to provide festival-goers the option of purchasing a "double-pak" that makes it easy for dance-junkies to purchase tickets for both mammoth festivals at a combined discounted price. (Both Electric Zoo promoters Made Event and Mysteryland creators ID&T are owned by SFX.)The first wave of the 2014 artist lineup lives up to the hype. With over 50 acts announced from festival headliners Dada Life, and Knife Party to Sunday School groovers Dubfire, Sasha and Danny Tenaglia and more genre-specific big guns like Chase & Status and Madeon—it's clear that this will be the most legendary Electric Zoo since the dawn of time.
