New York producer Sporting Life, aka Eric Adiele, really, really loves basketball. On Ratking's 2015 EP 700 Fill, he sampled dialogue from a classic Allen Iverson press conference for the song "Bethel," and included numerous sports references on last year's incredibly overlooked solo tape 55 5's. In that tradition, today he's dropped his latest EP Slam Dunk Vol. 1 via R&S Records, the first release in a three-part series inspired by Takehiko Inoue's hoops-themed manga Slam Dunk.

The four-track instrumental tape sees Diepe flexing his more experimental tendencies, and includes a moody house remix by White Material affiliate Galcher Lustwerk. He's also shared a music video for "Hydrate The Hustle" directed by GEORGIA, which follows the producer as he shows off his skills on the court after dark.
