L.A's underground upstarts gets feelsy on us

Bixel Boys might just be the most universally respected act bubbling up from the L.A underground at the moment. Good luck trying to figure them out, though. Just when you think you've got them pegged as future-R&B-ghetto-tech-bass-peddlers, they come at you with some bassline tune or drop into deep house.

Their Empire EP just appeared on Soundcloud this weekend and is a prime example of the genre clusterfuckery they've got going on at the moment. We've learned the hard way that, when it comes to Bixel Boys, the best thing to do is just shut up and wiggle your butt. So that's what we're doing with this sleek new MIXED BY. Word is that this one was inspired by feelings and airports. Possibly the feeling you get at an airport when you buy a $12 ham sandwich.
